that's because they didn't actually refund it, they sent it as a payment. that sucks.
But should you ever have to send something internationally, always use express mail, it comes with insurance AND tracking. first class mail, comes with absolutely nothing & you CAN get scammed that way.

Ok, so i just discovered this post.. I bought a malay lf unit from stella.. It was all kinds of wrong. With no price list its what ever they say an everything i requested an exchange for was more an more money.. Aftr all i just requested a refund. Whats funny abt that is i paid $156 w shipping, they subtract restocking an curl texture-so im looking at $115 refund..I sent the wig on 2/17 Usps just like AsianCarmel.. 2/24 will b 2 weeks.. An no tracking number.. On the customs form i put Wig, an cost of unit $120...An the worst part was that i was just about to place an order with worldbeautywigs!!! So im done! I wont be purchasing from any CV's this year...

Oops, for future reference, it's best to state that the item is a gift or a hair sample, and have the cost no more than $15-20. The vendor will probably have to pay some hellatious customs fee to retrieve the package. For everyone, when shipping overseas (heck, here in U.S. too), please use a traceable service such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS Express Mail, etc. The cost is extra, but it will save you some heartburn in the long run.

I agree with chat...never put the actual value of the merchandise on the forms when sending something back overseas. Customs will definitely be checking your package. If additional monies is due the vendor will either not accept the package or accept it and deduct the amount from your refund. I hope things work out for you.

I'm sorry that happened to you Devonna.  You have to be REALLY careful what you write on the packaging when returning a unit to China. I was lucky WBW told me exactly what to write on the envelope and slip but I still WILL NOT be messing with them anymore. That hair was balding and too thin.
Thank you chatnoir for the tip. I don't plan on shipping ANYTHING else whether its hair, etc without a tracking #. Learned my lesson.
