did you use a preservative?anything mixed up for longer than a week needs preservatives.

 I think that you need to put a preservative.

Tea tree oil or grapefruit extract something along those lines. They are good at stabilizing molecules.

WOW! Sorry about your mix. Those products cost alot. But yup, as others have said, it is the Aloe Vera juice that caused the fungus to grow. Aloe Vera juice, once exposed to air must be refrigerated. The juice has lots of water in it and whenever we have lots of water in any of our mixes, you must use a preservative. Although I am wondering why the preservative in the Eco styler getl did not work for your mix, but I guess it was not enough in it to help preserve your mix.

Maybe try using aloe vera gel instead of the juice.  That might help...

I've mixed up castor oil and olive oil twice and both of those bottles ended with some kind of fungus growing at the bottom of the bottle. I have't done it since then cause I was wasting too much product by throwing it away.
