I use a Corioliss. My friend suggested I buy it because it does a good job on her hair. I was skeptical at first and even talked the kiosk woman into throwing in some bonus items since I contemplated returning it LOL. It cost me $80 and it gets my hair SUPER straight. I have to do it in very small sections though because my hair is SO thick. I've found that its not ALL about the flat iron. A lot of it is the technique and products you use to straighten your hair...

Thank you sweetjade0327 for your recommendation of the Lena straight iron.  I use this with Sabino and my results are wonderful.  Thank you again!

Wow my flat iron can't hold a candle to the ones ya'll are talkin about lol. But i knew that before i bought it. I have a Revlon somethin...can't remember bought it in a hurry but i barely ever use it.

My hair stylist once told me most flat irons are all the same. As long as they have tourmaline, are ceramic, and have changeable heat settings, and maybe a detangling comb, that they're all the same. I was always like ummm....whateva!! But what do you ladies think? Is he wrong or right?

Hi I use GHD's I found them to be the best . Everyone thinks my hair is relaxed (see my avi pic) but it isn't my hair is all natural and i just use the ghd's with hair serum for heat protection(heat protect serum from boots expert range). I paid £120 for mine not sure how much they are in the states but my last pair lasted me 4 yrs and they still work now I gave them to my sister as i just wanted to treat myself to the newer version GHD IV styler both worked just as well.

Nookie that's you in the avi? look great. so you got this  with the GHD? I'm in Texas...guess ill have to hit up the net and order when I get paid. I want something good when I occassionally straighten my 5 year old. her hair is heathy and I refuse to put a relaxer on a young child! She is curly but i want to be able to straighten with out chemical damage. this sounds like just the thing. Thanks!
