Shrew- That's terrible, girl! The nerve of some people!! Sounds like a pretty delicious looking fro to me.. hint, hint ;) Hey ladies! I'm still in mini braids. I'm only on day 10. It looks like I'm getting some good growth so I'm gonna keep it up. I've been sporadically baggying at night. I apply my sulfur/bhringaraj/peppermint oil mix at night, spray moisturize, seal (sometimes with Vaseline on the ends) and put it up into a bun. Still looking for good daytime styles though.

I suck at doing my hair. I didnt wash it properly, there was still buildup on my hair and scalp even after washing & I don't blow dry it properly. Once I got to the middle of my head I felt as if I was ripping out hairs. On another note I'm claiming fnl :) I shall post pictures later

Didn't get my braids.. maybe in a few weeks... Haven't used my sulfur mix since the first time a few days ago.. I'm going to wash my hair tomorrow anyway so ill get back to it..

MissSDY- I still get good results using my mix a couple time per week. In fact, I'm thinking of going back to that b/c it's tarnishing my jewelry. I bought some CLR today so I hope that works.. my toothpaste didn't :(

you know what? it feels so much better "wigging" it.
For once, i don't have to make an appointment every two weeks to get my hair braided.
Plus, i don't have my co-workers sitting around with nothing to do but wonder about what braid style i'll walk in with.
And my hair is finally growing without costing an arm and a leg for a protective style.

what i really like about wearing a short wig during my hair journey?
I'm not standing around "explaining" my hair to anyone. Because the wig is short, everyone assumes that it's my hair.. go figure.

Wigs are it for me too! I can change my hair-do in a NY minute plus take care of my own hair. I enjoyed wearing a weave, but the downside was I couldn't take care of my hair. Plus I can sleep in a extra 30 min in the mornings because I don't have hair drama. Too early in the morning for that! And the cost of good weave/install/upkeep with break ya, unless you have a friend that will hook you up! I can stay in a wig for 4 months and I usually pay around $30.00 a pop, so that about $1.95 a day to wig it. Alot cheaper than replacing weave and install
