I saw this product on the shelf yesterday and remembered that Lilnicka said it was really good, along with other posters, so I bought it (I'm not in the States, so I grab what I can find when I see it). Can someone remind me when to use this during the straightening process? After blow drying and before flat ironing? After flat ironing? I hope it works for me, cause it's hella expensive!

You can use it right before blow drying...it gives your hair lots of slip...

Serums do not moisturize the hair, but this product helps to retain moisture and keeps your hair straight for a very long time. My hair usually stays straight and retains moisture until the next wash. I usually use this product on my hair when it is damp just before blow drying and then I use more if I'm flat ironing my hair.

IA with the bolded. I use it in conjunction with a heat protectant (not sure if that is overkill) but it does keep the hair straighter for longer. I straightened my hair 2 weeks ago and it hasn't reverted very much except at the roots and I used this.

I use it when my hair is damp. I put on my Herbal Essences LTR leave-in and then use this right afterwards. It works as a sealant for me and keeps the frizz down and the moisture locked in. i then blow dry and flat iron, if I'm using my monthyl heat pass. Otherwise I just let it airdry and have wonderful results.
