Write articles pertaining to the products or services you are offering. I use articlesbase.com and ezinearticles.com. Hope this helps!

Put your url in all of your forum signatures and post post post.  Everytime you post, somebody sees your url and they may click on it.  I just posted 5 times in the last 15 minutes on this and other forums I belong to and got 18 hits on my site from them.

Yes, it's called backlinking and believe me I'm working on this myself! It takes a lot of time and effort but it's a natural way to get traffic as opposed to link farms or spam.
