this is a yes and no answer! Yes, you can do that, that's how I started my loc extensions, but I'm regreting it cause there's build-up where the extensions and the root was first attached if that makes sence!

instead of putting the extension at the root braid your natural hair first and put the extension at the end of the braid thats what i am doing now.   I did it the other way and didnt like it,  I think it looks more natural with the extension on the end.

@Lala What area does she live in? People always look at me strange when I ask about them. Can I get these over my baby locs?

*She lives in Bradenton Fl, I am not too sure if u can get them over locs that has already been started. She did them so she can be able to loc her hair without going through the short hair stage.

Hi aishabear,

I put extensions at the end of my twists, starting off with braiding down a little bit and then twisting the remainder. I used afro kinky human hair. It turned out cool, but then I washed it and so many of them came out. Have you had this problem? What are you going to do about washing yours with the extensions?  Maybe it's because I twisted, and didn't braid, but I was trying to have them look uniform with my already two-strand twisted hair.

Thanks for any advice you might have!
