Hey Tricia,
Sorry it took so long to reply. I'm not sure what styles I'll be
rockin' this winter. I like to try different hair each time I braid.
I'm gonna attempt to do my own tree braids, I can do others all
day long, but for myself, thats gonna be a challenge. Right now I
have dark brown deep wave singles that come shoulder length. I'll
try to post some pics. I like them, but not in love w/them. I've only
had them for a little over a
week, but I can see quite a bit of new growth already . I'll be going
to the BBSS this weekend to look for some hair I haven't tried!!

Hey Sandyjo5, I'm hoping to get my treebraids done. I never had those done before. The person doing them says she knows how to do them, but haven't had much practice because people don't ask for them. She's only charging me $60. My question is that reasonable and what kind of hair do you use for treebraids. Thanks! Welcome to the Challenge. |

Tropical, that is a wonderful price, I've seen people charge around $200 & up. I'd be a little concerned because it's so cheap. I'd ask if she has pictures of her work. And also bring some pics of my own just 2b on the safe side. As far as what type of hair, Beverly Johnson has a variety of bag hair that is very reasonable 'bout $4-6 a bag. That's what I have in my hair right now & it doesn't tangle or frizz. Here's a link to a few tree braid pics. HTH. Welcome to the Challenge also. Hope to see some pics of your hair once it's done.

Sandyj, your hair looks really cute. I might try a style like that for my set of braids this challenge. What kind of hair did you use and how much did it cost?
Oh and its kind of hard to tell, but did you braid all the way down?
