Hi. I'm just curious. I'm starting the long process of getting dread locks, and i'm starting with comb twist(gel twist).
I just got them done yesterday. I wanted to know how long should i keep them in, and also is there a certain type of spray i should use so my scalp doesn't get dry?

I am sorry for my late response :D  But the answer to your questions all depend on your hair and skin type. (I'm no expert) but I've found that I never needed any specific product for my scalp before so I don't use one now, (and I have dry skin) I don't like to use to many products because they all contribute to build up problems later on. Now when you say "How long should I keep them in?" I'm assuming you mean how long should you wait to wash them, That's all up to you really, I washed my comb coils within two weeks, but I also see a loctician from time to time when I feel lazy about re-twisting myself.  He started my locs with aloe gel and water, but He did use some sort of finishing spray, I'll have to ask what it was, I am going to compile a video of all the questions I ask him so look for that to come out soon. Hope this helps! Best of luck on your new journey!!
